Taste Bud Attack: One Pot Pasta!

Guys, this is a dream come true: One pot pasta! You just throw all of the ingredients in one pot, add water, stir… Voilà! Delicious pasta! And only one pot to wash up! Doesn’t that convince you to try it yourself?!

For this little experiment you will need (for one person):
100 g Pasta, preferably tagliatelle
200-250 ml Water
Salt
Pepper
200 g Cherry tomatoes
½ Onion
1 clove of garlic
1 twig of basil

And finally: 1 pot!

How to:
Wash the tomatoes and cut them in half. Cut the garlic in half and the onion into small pieces. Throw the pasta, tomato halves, basil, garlic and onion into the pot (trust me, just throw it all in, it’s gonna be delicious! And don’t worry about garlic and onion! It’s gonna taste amazing!).

A peek in the pot: ‘Before’
Add the spices, (Please don’t follow my lead here, pepper can be dangerous! Go slow!) pour in about 200 ml of water and cook. Now onto the most important part: STIR! DON’T STOP! STIR until the water slowly evaporates. If the pasta isn’t done yet, just add a bit of water and KEEP STIRRING!

When the water has evaporated, serve. Enjoy the aromatic pasta. Relax. There’s only one pot to wash up.

And ‘after’! (Yes, you should probably use tagliatelle…but what was I supposed to do?! Run out in this weather and get some? No way!)
